Based in Brooklyn, NY, Alex Eshelman is Associate Director of OPEN DOORS, a non-profit artist collective that invests in the creativity and leadership of Black and Brown wheelchair users. Alex graduated from Cornell University in 2022 where he studied labor relations and music.

 

A musician at heart, Alex is involved in a multitude of artistic disciplines. He’s interested in disability justice and leaving a creative mark on the city. “I’m a recording artist. My greatest skills are leadership and creative thinking. Catch me hanging out at the park with my guitar or writing in a coffee shop.
